In most cultures, light is used to represent and celebrate life. Whether it is by lighting a candle or releasing a lantern, light is a part of many rituals, probably ever since mankind discovered fire.
For this series of windows we designed for Hermès France Autumn 2023, we wanted to use light to celebrate life and explore its origins, and what it means to us to be alive. With a series of peaceful and airy composition we give an open interpretation on how it feel to be alive. Sometimes magical, sometimes confusing and mysterious but always astonishing!
